About the event
Join the GOC Collective and artist, Lucy (Yinxue) Zou in this creative workshop, designed to support participants in exploring visual storytelling and self-expression by creating their own digital collage poster. No drawing skills or design experience are required, just curiosity and a willingness to experiment. This is for anyone who has a story to tell and hasn't found the right way to tell it yet — women, girls, creatives, community members, practitioners, and anyone who wants to experience their own voice through art.
By the end of the workshop, each participant will create a finished digital collage poster that can be printed, shared online, or displayed. They’ll also add a short title or line of text that helps frame the meaning of their piece. We also discuss how collage can function as a form of storytelling and voice.
